Photographic clients:
Tourist offices: The Government of India Tourist Office extensively used my photos as part of its Ahhh...Indiahhh national advertising campaign in the Sunday Times, Independent on Sunday and Sunday Telegraph colour supplements as well as the Mail on Sunday's You magazine in the mid-1990s, including full-page gatefolds off the front covers. The Seychelles Tourist Office launched a poster campaign based on six of my pictures at World Travel Market in 1996 and included some on their website. I flew to Iceland and Mauritius to take stock photos for the respective tourist offices. In September 2002 I spent three weeks in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC undertaking a photo shoot for the three state tourist offices through their joint marketing organisation, Capital Region USA. Maryland used several images from the photo shoot as the poster backdrop for its stand at Pow Wow 2004 in Los Angeles. A number of the photographs have also been used on the latest CD-Rom produced by Capital Region. This is from the 2003 CRUSA Annual Report: "At Pow Wow, CRUSA also released the 2003 edition of its interactive photo CD. The CD features more than 72 new images of the region (downloadable and royalty-free), suggested touring itineraries, regional news, an interactive regional map, and more than 100 links to partner sites, including the region’s own website, www.capitalregionusa.com, for access to foreign-language pages and additional information. Best Western International helped sponsor the photo CD. This project resulted from a three-week photo shoot of the region by Peter Ellegard, a UK-based award-winning travel writer and photographer."
Tour operators: UK tour operator Intourist used one of my pictures of St Petersburg as the front cover image for its 2004 Russia, Ukraine & The Baltics brochure following a trip I undertook with them in May 2003. A further 11 photographs are used inside the brochure and on the back cover. Other tour operators using my pictures include Bridge Travel (10 pictures in its South Africa 2003 and 2004 brochures), American Round Up (as the wraparound cover shot and inside double-page spread in its annual brochure) and Greaves Travel in its Indian Ocean Islands 2004 brochure. Operators using photos through World Pictures include Bath Travel, Saga Holidays, Voyages Jules Verne, Shearings Holidays, NCL Group, Inghams Travel, Titan Travel, Princess Cruises, Page & Moy, Travelscene, Travelsphere, My Travel and Cresta Holidays.
In December 2001 I took all the photography on Travel 2's mega-familiarisation trip to South Africa for 100 travel agents, and wrote a four-page feature in TTG illustrated with my pictures.

Television/radio:
TV:I spent the last three months of 2003 in China filming a TV series with an independent Chinese television production company. Called Travelling in China, the series follows me as I travel around the country, seeing some of the country's extraordinary scenery, vibrant cities and unique cultures, visiting celebrated and little-known tourist attractions and meeting local people. The 11-programme series is expected to be aired by TV stations in China and around the world including Australia and the UK during 2004. Two follow-up series are also planned, with filming set for late 2004 and 2005. Illustrated extracts of a diary of my travels are on the Travelling in China section of the site. Also in the same section is a series of video clips of 16-minute trailer for the TV series. The first diary extract, on Beijing, has been published by online travel magazine Worldrover in its June/July issue.
Radio: I was interviewed live on golf radio programme Tee Time with Dave Tester on radio station News-Talk 670 KBOI in Boise, Idaho, in June 2004. The interview was about an article on America's Fab Five golf holes I wrote in RCI Endless Vacation magazine, and on my travels as a golf writer and photographer.

Research:
I have carried out intensive research projects and produced detailed reports for clients including the Canadian Tourism Organisation and major public relations agencies.
